Manage E-Commerce Project

Overview

This project involved overseeing the management of multiple e-commerce projects for a variety of clients, each with unique requirements, budgets, and timelines.
The primary focus was on delivering high-quality digital products while ensuring client satisfaction and project efficiency. By balancing the diverse needs of clients, the challenge was to maintain a user-centric approach while managing expectations, resources, and timelines effectively.

The Problem

Managing multiple e-commerce projects simultaneously required a strong organizational framework to handle diverse client requests and ensure that deadlines were met without sacrificing quality. Each client had different priorities, including varying budget constraints, specific design requirements, and distinct product goals, all of which had to be aligned with the user experience and business objectives.

Hypothesis

By adopting a structured project management approach, with clear communication and well-defined processes, we could efficiently manage each project’s scope while maintaining flexibility to adapt to client-specific needs. Prioritizing user research and collaboration between teams would lead to more informed decisions and better results, keeping both users and clients satisfied.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Acted as the primary point of contact for each client, aligning their goals with the project scope, managing expectations, and providing regular updates. Ensured that each project remained on track and within budget.
  • Team Coordination: managed cross-functional teams of external UX/UI, and developers, to ensure seamless collaboration and the timely delivery of project phases. Led regular meetings to review progress, address challenges, and adjust timelines as needed, ensuring alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Planning & Execution: created detailed project plans, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Used project management tools to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and ensure timely delivery of all components.
  • Quality Assurance: oversaw the testing and review process for each project to ensure high standards were met before delivery. Coordinated feedback loops between clients and internal teams to refine products based on testing results and client input.
