Re-styling Online Presence Grupomarthe.com

Overview

Grupo Marthe, a car hire company, required a modernization of its online presence to stay competitive in the market.
Their outdated website design was not effectively converting visitors into customers, and the site lacked mobile optimization. The re-styling project focused on creating a visually appealing, user-friendly website that aligned with the brand’s identity while improving the user experience for both desktop and mobile users.

The Problem

The outdated design and poor mobile responsiveness were contributing to low online bookings.
The website's outdated layout did not reflect the company’s professional image, resulting in high bounce rates and low engagement from potential customers. Moreover, with an increasing percentage of traffic coming from mobile devices, the lack of mobile optimization was a major issue, reducing potential conversions.

Hypothesis

By modernizing the website’s design, improving its user interface, and implementing a mobile-responsive layout, it was assumed that online bookings would increase, user engagement would improve, and the bounce rate would decrease.
Progressive Web App (PWA) was also expected to cater to the growing number of mobile users, further boosting conversions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • User Research: conducted competitive analysis, user interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • User Interface Design: designed wireframes and mockups, with a focus on a clean, modern, and mobile-responsive design.
  • Graphic Design: redesigned the visual elements, including icons and images, to align with the company’s brand identity.
  • Front-End Development: led the implementation of the new design using WordPress and Elementor, ensuring the site was optimized for performance and mobile use. Integrated a PWA to improve the mobile user experience and reduce load times.

Output

  • Increased Online Bookings: the revamped website led to a 25% increase in online bookings within the first three months of launch.
  • Mobile Traffic Growth: the implementation of a PWA resulted in a 30% increase in mobile traffic, offering users a faster and smoother experience.
  • Improved Bounce Rate: the modernized design and improved navigation contributed to a 15% decrease in the bounce rate, as users spent more time engaging with the site.
  • User Satisfaction: feedback indicated a 20% improvement in user satisfaction, with customers noting the ease of use and professionalism of the new site.

This re-styling project successfully enhanced Grupo Marthe's online presence, laying a foundation for continued growth in the digital marketplace.
